NAME
       date - display the current date and time

SYNOPSIS
       date [-u]

DESCRIPTION
       date displays the current date and time. With -u, displays
       the time in UTC instead of the local timezone.

OPTIONS
       -u     Display time in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
